Always friendly, professional and the food is good but it's slightly over priced for the portion sizes. My only real complaint.

Food always first rate. They ran out of my lentil soup and they made it from scratch! The lamb is tender no matter what sauce. And the garlic naan flavorful with real garlic. Grilled dishes not dry- still juicy. Service super nice.

"This tastes like when I make Chicken Tikka Masala" - my Indian partner We ordered delivery and I was worried because it took a bit to be delivered. When it arrived though, I knew we had found a winner. The food was packed very carefully and I liked that they used the Chinese take out containers because the samosas stayed crispy! The Chana masala was amazing and the tikka masala well, see above. 10/10. Spice levels are accurate I would say. The garlic naan and roti were also very well cooked. I'm excited to go to the restaurant and dine in and so happy to have found amazing Indian food nearby. Food - 10/10 Service - I would be shocked if the service was bad Ambiance - TBD

Have I ever had Indian food? Yes. Lots. This place is unique. It's quaint. It's extremely affordable. It's delicious but flavors are just different in the best way. You really have to try it yourself understand. I had cauliflower, my husband had butter chicken with garlic naan. Appetizer was mixed fried. The absolute star of the show was the free appetizers. Crisp bites with delicious fresh sauces. I'm telling you. If you're in Dorchester you need to stop and give this place a try!

We came during the evening, the service was amazing and loved the vibes inside the place. We ordered the garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, lamb korma and of course mango lassi! The garlic naan was super tasty and so was the chicken tikka masala!

Shanti is definitely the best indian food I've tried in GBA. Is it amazing food? No. The meat dishes we had were all overcooked, and gave the distinct impression of chicken being added in after the fact. However, the spice/flavor profiles were generally good, and that is hard to find in the area. I'd definitely come back if I had a hankering for classic indian restaurant-style dishes e.g. tandoori food, meat curries.

My family absolutely loves Shanti. It's delicious, has depth of flavour. I always get the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and lamb curry. They all come with rice. The service is efficient. We get delivery from here pretty often and it's great. The only con is it's a little pricey for the quantity but I still love it!

Shanti had been highly recommended to me by co-workers and friends. Food was so good! I think pricier than most Indian places but worth it. I was surprised at how empty it was on a Sunday 5:30PM - my friend and I were the only ones dining in for the whole 1.5 hours we were there. There were some take out orders, however, so perhaps it's more of a takeout place. When you arrive, you are greeted with some chips and dip. Between the two of us, we got the Shanti Special, korma, saag paneer, and garlic naan, which we intended to bring home half for our SO's at home. It was definitely a good amount of food, came out super hot, and the presentation was appealing. The server at the end was very concerned and disappointed that we had only eaten a little of the food, and she was quite worried that we did not enjoy it. We explained to her we were intentionally saving some. You can tell she cared a lot about the food there! She nicely brought us containers and bags for our left overs and let us split the check despite us putting everything onto one bill. Street parking was easy enough to find. Will be back to try other dishes on the menu! Definitely a standout Indian place in the Boston area.
